Restaurant Distributed Audio
Distributed audio systems are ones which allow for playback and often control of music throughout an entire floor or building. There are standard systems that can be purchased, or a system can be custom built to suit the needs of the client.
- Single Source / Single Zone is the simplest set up. This involves a single source such as CD, iPod, or satellite that will play in a single zone.
- Single Source / Multiple Zone allows audio to be distributed to multiple rooms or floors. Again this would be a single source CD, iPod, or satellite that will play in all areas speakers have been installed. The use of volume controls in all zones allows the customer to tailor the audio level as well as the on/off of the source signal.
- Multiple Source / Multiple Zone systems are the most flexible in allowing multiple sources to be routed to multiple zones. Customers could have as many different sources playing in as many zones as they like; it just costs a little more.
